 What: an updated non-commercial Organisation Information Document

The Organisation Information Document (OID) template for non-commercial research in the NHS/HSC has been updated.
Why has it been updated?
The March 2024 version had an error in the numbering of the clauses in the contractual appendices. This has now been corrected so that contractual arrangements are clear when the OID is used as the contract.
The new version is dated April 2024.
Please use this version of the non-commercial OID as the contract for your participating NHS/HSC organisations.
What if I am using the data processing only Organisation Information Document?
The March 2024 of the data processing only Organisation Information Document is the most up to date.
What if I submit an older version?
We will continue to accept older versions of both Organisation Information Documents, including the March 2024 version of the non-commercial Organisation Information Document, until the end of September 2024.
If you submit the March 2024 version of the non-commercial Organisation Information Document in your IRAS submission and indicate that this will also be used as the contract, you will be asked to update this to the April 2024 version to ensure that contractual arrangements are clear.
