The role of the Design and Estimating Engineer is to design and cost complex fire, life safety, electronic security systems and network infrastructure. You will be responsible for reviewing client/tender specification documents and drawings, liaising with suppliers, using CAD software for the detailed design, costing the projects and drafting proposal documents. You will work collaboratively with various departments, our clients, consultants, suppliers and colleagues, in order to ensure internal & external deadlines are met and that projects are accurately designed & costed.

On line clerks are sought to cover meetings virtually and record minutes to a standard format. Meetings will typically last 2-3 hours and there will be training and support to reach the required standard. There are multiple meetings annually that are scheduled at the start of the academic year and span the months from September to the following July.
