An exciting opportunity has arisen to join award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service.
Are you passionate about food and enjoy working as part of a team? We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team.
You will be supporting the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service at Unstone Junior School, Main Road, Unstone, S18 4AB. This may involve working at a production unit or at a servery unit. Possible tasks include food preparation, cooking, portion control, allergen compliance and preparing the dining room for service.
Our Catering Assistants are our point of contact with our hungry customers. Whilst serving meals to our customers all team members help ensure that food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed. We want to help make good lunchtime memories for our customers so it is essential that you can demonstrate an attitude which is appropriate to the school environment.
Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment.
We are hiring casual bar staff for our Parish Suite. Bar experience is preferred but not essential.

Key Accountabilities
To be responsible for providing a professional, telephone based income collection
service for customers who are in arrears.
To ensure customer accounts are managed and progress through the enforcement
process, all pre-court protocols are adhered to as required up to and including Notice,
(excluding applications to and attendance at Court, evictions and home visits) and
high levels of customer care and information accuracy are maintained.
 Apprentice Paint Sprayer
£14,000 a year
38 hours per week, working Mon to Thurs 7am to 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
Training course Vehicle damage paint technician (level 3)
To spray paint material and units in accordance with the company standard. You will be trained on how to prepare and set up painting products and tools and learn the painting process from start to finish to produce high quality products.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
 Midday Supervisor
£5,043.48 per annum
Part Fixed - Term Time August 2025
10 hours per week
The Governors wish to appoint three suitable candidates to work within our friendly and popular school. You will be working within a supportive and happy team, supporting pupils in the dining hall and in their active lunchtime play.
We are looking for friendly, caring people who enjoy working with children. Your duties are to provide supervision, care, guidance, and support to pupils during their lunchtime and at lunchtime play.
 We require a used bike buyer to work in our purchasing team.
Ideally you will be within the motorcycle trade and the ideal candidate would have experience/knowledge of motorcycles and is familiar with all the major brands and be prepared to source quality motorcycles all year round.

Dancers
We are looking for dancers to take place in our Christmas pantomime Sleeping Beauty and show team at Gullivers Valley. You must be available foe all performances and rehearsals. Rehearsal dates 4th - 9th November, show dates every weekend from 16th November up to 24th December with additional opportunities un until 4th January.
Santa
We are looking for a few more Santa's to join our busy grotto. The grotto will be open to guests from the 16th - 29th November, you will be paid £20 per hour.
