 Introducing our new partnership identity
To recognise and celebrate the stage we are at in our partnership, we want our identity to reflect that we are one PPP team.
PPP is therefore introducing a new single identity with new logotypes, updated document templates, artwork across our offices and construction sites, branded products like lanyards, and more set to be rolled out.
From next week, PPP's communications team will begin rolling out the fresh new look, supported by instructions and guidelines, to help begin to embed the single partnership identity to better reflect who PPP is today.
Each element of the new logotype holds significance – please see the explainer below.
What's more, the new logotypes have undergone rigorous accessibility tests and should be used in accordance with the guidelines to ensure they are displayed clearly for all to see.
The existing PPP identity - as used in the footer of this email - will still be seen and exist but will no longer be used as the primary means of identification. That means one of the first steps we’ll all need to take next week is to update our email signatures.
The intention is to begin the rollout from Wednesday 25 January 2023.

Have your say - Investors in Diversity survey opens on Monday
Similar to the survey rolled out in early 2022, this latest all team survey will monitor and measure our progress as a partnership and get essential views on what we're doing well and what we can improve in the inclusion space.
We can’t become more inclusive if you don’t tell us where we are now, so it’s really important that you share your views, by answering some simple questions.
Last year's survey received over 500 responses, so please take the time again to have your say and share your views anonymously.
The survey will take around 15 minutes to complete and will be open for three weeks, closing on Friday 10 February.
Look out for the communications that will follow on Monday.
Success for alternative valve prototype test on SCP
The SIXEP Continuity Plant's (SCP) alternative valves supply is a key work package in the delivery of the project. In May 2022, German based AZ Armaturen who are supplying the valves, confirmed that a reliability trial was successful, giving high confidence that the new valves would meet the required quality.
The remaining prototype valves have recently been put through testing; gland/cover/ seal tightness (E3), seat tightness (E4) and valve torque profile (D3).
All have been successfully completed by the supplier, confirming that the functional requirements of the 50NS, 100NS and 200NS valves can be met.
The valves will now undergo 15,500 operating cycle tests, taking approximately 20 days, to further demonstrate valve reliability.
What are the valves used for?
The remotely maintainable valves are used for flow control and isolation in SCP.
Once operational, SCP will act as the ‘kidneys’ of the Sellafield site filtering out nuclear material before being safely discharged to sea.
Why are the valves important?
There are 157 valves in the plant and their reliability is crucial in meeting the plant availability target of 98.4%.
