Celebrating 50 years of NCHA

To mark our 50th anniversary we’re excited to announce the launch of our new logo.

We wanted to create something that was easily identifiable, and reflective of the Nottingham Community Housing Association legacy that we’re so fiercely proud of.

Our organisation has grown and evolved over our half century journey, and our refreshed logo reflects a more modern and memorable look to take us into our next chapter.

We’re fundraising for Crisis

To mark this special anniversary our colleagues are taking part in an exciting challenge, ‘Golden Miles’. Throughout April, they’ll be setting themselves challenging active targets in distances, all in support of a very meaningful cause.

All money raised will be going to Crisis. As a homelessness charity, Crisis work directly with thousands of homeless people every year, and are very much aligned with our own mission. We want to raise as much money as we can for them. If you wish to support please visit out Just Giving page.

£4.2m grant to improve energy efficiency

Residents living in 300 of our homes will benefit from energy efficiency improvement, thanks to a £4.2m grant.

The money, from Wave 2.1 of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), will help us to expand our current ‘retrofit’ programme.

We’ll be more than matching the grant, increasing the total funds to almost £9m. With this money, we’ll be bringing 300 of our older homes up to an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of ‘C’, at a cost of around £30,000 a home. Read more
