 Dear This Girl Can
As a City Council Sports and Leisure customer we know you want to be the first to hear about Nottingham’s very own This Girl Can campaign.
This amazing national campaign developed by Sport England launches right now! We want to celebrate active women of Nottingham who are doing their thing no matter how well they do it or even how red their face gets. This Girl Can aims to inspire women to be more active no matter what their size, ability or lifestyle. Today also marks the launch of ‘Make your pledge to WIGGLE, JIGGLE and MOVE’. To get involved, all you need to do is take a photo of yourself (selfie is fine!) and make a pledge on Facebook or Twitter.
How to pledge
To make your pledge ‘like’ us on Facebook, and post the following text ‘I pledge to (as an example) get my bike out and use it! I nominate @(insert your friend’s name),@xxxxxxx and @xxxxxxx to make their pledge to wiggle, jiggle and move. #NottinghamGirlsCan!’
If Twitter is your thing then follow us on Twitter then ,type in the following: '#NottinghamGirlsCan! I pledge to join (a Zumba class). I nominate @xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx to make their pledge. @nottmgirlscan'
