of Peace exhibition around Nottingham. It’s a unique and touching look at
the landscapes scarred by the First World War – how have they recovered today,
and what clues and traces of the conflict still exist?

race, bear in mind that road
closures will be in operation on Sunday morning and early afternoon along
the race route.
Goosey is back on the Mansfield Road roundabout, andGoose Fair is about to
kick off! As ever, there’ll be loads to do for the whole family, from white-knuckle
thrill seekers to gentle rides perfect for children. You can also enjoy
traditional games like hook-a-duck, and sample some of the delicious food on
offer from around the world, including Goose Fair favourite minty mushy peas!

Robin Hood Pageant - Nottingham Castle Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 October
Nottingham Castle returns to the middle ages! Visit a medieval village with history demonstrations, minstrels and entertainers, and watch knights on horseback battle in a thrilling jousting competition at the Robin Hood Pageant, sponsored by the Nottingham Building Society.
This year, join us for an exciting and spectacular night time joust. Robin Hood and his Merry Men will take on the Sheriff of Nottingham and his evil henchmen with lance, sword and fire in an exclusive clash on and off of horseback. Family tickets (2 adults and 3 children) are just £20.
