Welcome to the January issue of your Citycard Update. Each month the Citycard Update gives you the latest news for card holders together with information about new and different ways you can use your card. We'll also feature some of the providers from the discount directory and show you how to save money using your Citycard!

Kangaroo Ticketing - More places to purchase Kangaroo Travel!

You may have seen the new Citycard ticket machines that have been cropping up around the city.  This is part of a new £1.5m retail network being developed alongside an online portal to make it faster, easier and more cost effective to buy, collect and top up tickets for journeys in and around the city.

There will be a total of 38 ticket machines installed at key sites close to bus stops in the city centre, and a further 50 at district centres and places which generate high numbers of journeys.

The machines are currently located at Bulwell Bus Station, Beastmarket Hill, Angel Row, QMC, Loxley House, Milton Street, South Sherwood Street, Upper Parliament Street, Queen Street, King Street and Carrington Street.

You can currently check your card's expiry date, purchase a Citycard pre-loaded with 10 days of travel or you can top up an existing Citycard with any of the following travel products:

  • 1 day
  • 10 day
  • 1 month
  • 3 month
  • 6 month
  • 12 month

All of these are available in Adult, Student or Child options.
