Be the eyes and ears in your neighbourhood!

Community Image

It’s not always possible for the council to see what is
going on in our neighbourhoods day-to-day. That's where you as a member of the public come in. You can be the eyes and ears of your community and help us by reporting issues such as dog fouling, fly tipping, graffiti, and more. Just call 915 2000, go online at nottinghamcity.gov.uk/reportit, via social media (Facebook /cleangreennottingham or (Twitter.com/cleangreennottm) or via our Clean Nottingham app which is available on iphones.

Check out the website at www.lovefoodhatewaste.com to see how changing your kitchen habits and using more leftovers can help you save up to £200 on your food bill and prevent your food from becoming waste!  There are loads of fantastic recipes to support you along the way!

If in doubt, leave it out!

bin

Did you know the most common contaminants in Nottingham's grey lidded recycling bins are carrier bags, nappies, crisp packets, polystyrene, food and clothes? If you are unsure if an item can be recycled, leave it out and put it in your green residual waste bin. For further details on what you can recycle please visit www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/recycling or check out our video on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aP79A_feWK0

Carry on Cleaning!

Keep it clean

Nottingham enjoyed a fantastic six weeks of engagement, education and clean ups across the City as part of its ‘Together we can Keep Nottingham Clean’ campaign.

Key issues were tackled such as dog fouling and fly tipping and targeted hotspot tasking work has taken place in neighbourhoods. For further information on what was achieved visit: http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/pressarchive/index.aspx?articleid=28275
