Welcome to the July edition of the Citycard Cycles Newsletter! Each month we'll bring you the latest news and events for cycling in Nottingham, together with information about up-coming and existing projects. We'll also feature competitions and offers within the city!

and lots of free family activities!
Join in with a guided cycle ride this summer!
 Explore Nottingham is a programme of guided cycle rides around
Nottinghamshire which take place every week until the end of
October. The cycle rides are great fun and they’re free! It’s a good
way to get out and about and explore a bit of your local area – and
you’ll meet lots of new people too.

July 5, 2014 12:00pm to 1:00pm: Bulwell Cycle Centre Led Ride - Easy
July 5, 2014 2:00pm to 1:00pm: Bulwell led ride - Easy
July 5, 2014 12:00pm to 1:00pm: Bulwell active ride - Cycling For Health
 Up-cycle your old bike lock! Simply bring your old lock to one of the below Swap a Lock sessions between noon and 2pm and exchange it for a FREE high standard lock while stocks last!

* Monday 7 July Eastwood Market Day, Wellington Place, NG16 3LQ
* Monday 14 July Beeston Market Day, The Square, NG9 2LG
Dr Bike will be at each session offering FREE bike safety & maintenance checks.

CYCLISTS sizzled in the sunshine as they took part in an annual bike ride.
The 34th Great Notts Bike Ride took place on Sunday morning at the Victoria Embankment and was attended by thousands.
The event which was the part of Cycle Live Nottingham included three races made up of 25, 50 and 100 miles.
Well done to all those who took part in the event. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
