Use the Achieve Well Survey to Support Applications to the Achieve Well Grant

survey

If you're planning to apply for our grant scheme, completing the Achieve Well Health and Wellbeing survey is a great place to start.

The survey gives you a clear picture of your pupils’ health and wellbeing needs, helping you pinpoint where support is most needed. That insight can then be used as strong evidence in your funding application.  It is aimed at years 6 and 10 (other year groups are available).

Instead of guessing priorities, you’ll have real data to show:

  • what your pupils need
  • where gaps exist
  • how funding will make a difference

It’s quick to do and can make a real difference when applying for support.

RSE Day

launch

Children and young people from Nottingham schools came together to celebrate the premiere of a powerful, original song created in partnership with local schools for this year’s national Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) Day.

The special premiere event took place at the Broadway Cinema, where 130 children from 10 participating schools gathered to watch the official music video for the very first time. The atmosphere was full of excitement and pride, as the young people saw the results of their creativity, collaboration and hard work brought to life on the big screen.

The project was delivered by Nottingham City Council in partnership with ChalleNGe Nottingham and Nottingham Music Service, and centred around the 2026 RSE Day theme, “It Begins with Me.” The song, which was written and performed by Nottingham children explores important themes including self-confidence, self-worth and building healthy, positive relationships.

Although a planned outdoor performance had to be moved due to the heat, this did not dampen spirits. The celebrations continued indoors, where the children performed together, showcasing their talent and confidence in a supportive and energetic environment. The event was a fantastic success, highlighting the power of youth voice and creativity in bringing RSE to life.

This collaborative project forms part of Nottingham’s ongoing role in championing RSE Day nationally, and demonstrates how creative approaches can support young people to engage with key wellbeing messages in a meaningful and memorable way.

The finished music video is now available to watch and share. Schools, professionals and families are encouraged to use it as a resource and conversation starter around relationships, self-esteem and wellbeing.
