Nottingham's new travel app - which brings together route-planning, ticketing and real-time information - has now been downloaded by more than 10,000 people.

Ride was officially launched in December and is available to download for free in app stores by searching 'Ride East Midlands'.

It enables users to plan, book, pay and ride any journey in the wider Nottingham and Derby areas, across multiple different types of public transport - all in one handy place.

It gives people point-to-point route planning and allows them to buy tickets for all parts of their journey. Another excellent feature is the live map which shows every bus moving in real-time, so it's easy to know whether you have time to finish your coffee or dash for the stop!

Download the app through the new Ride website here.
