The Achieve Well Team would like to work with a group of secondary aged young people to co-produce a suite of PSHE resources.
This is an exciting opportunity for the young people involved to create resources that will be rolled out across the city. Following training on what is good practice in PSHE, the young people will critique existing resources, and share their ideas for what they would like to see. The young people will be involved at each stage of the production of the resources which we aim to showcase at the Nottingham Healthy Child Conference.

This funding scheme supports pupil co-produced, sustainable healthy food and nutrition projects. Grants of up to £5,000 (revenue) and £10,000 (capital, for eligible schools) will be available. Complete the Expression of Interest form to register your interest—further information to follow.

Our free Health and Wellbeing Survey for pupils will run again this year. The survey is targeted at Year 6 pupils in primary and Year 10 in secondary schools (other year groups optional) and can be completed electronically or on paper copies. Each school that takes part receives an individualised report containing their data alongside comparative City-wide results. More information is available on our website.
All schools who complete the survey in 2025 will receive a free teacher resource book on a health and wellbeing theme. You can sign up here.

Although TikTok has removed the original #skinnytok hashtag, similar harmful content continues under tags like #skinnytokmotivation. These trends glorify extreme weight loss and can trigger eating disorders, especially in young people. Schools should educate pupils about online risks, encourage critical thinking and provide safe spaces to discuss body image. The Nottinghamshire and Nottingham Violence Reduction Partnership are hosting their first ever youth-led event, called 'Hope Hack'!
The event is being held at the YMCA Newark and Sherwood Activity Village Lord Hawke Way, Newark NG24 4FH on July 25th, kicking off at 9:30 AM until 3:30 PM!
This event is all about young people. There will be performances and creative pieces from young people. and the chance to share ideas on how professionals can make mental health better for young people and tackle things like knife crime, gangs, and exploitation.
Food will be provided on the day.

GL Assessment are hosting a practical and insightful webinar on how primary schools can support speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) by enhancing oracy skills.
