Colwick park-and-ride reopens after disruption

Colwick/Racecourse park-and-ride opened up again on Monday this week.

It followed the reopening of the Queens Drive facility on 29 November, which was closed temporarily due to an illegal encampment.

Another busy weekend expected on the roads

We're expecting another busy Saturday and Sunday on the roads around Nottingham.

As the penultimate weekend before Christmas, there will be thousands of shoppers in the city centre and many of them visiting the Winter Wonderland (above). Reminder, too, that Forest are at home on Saturday - kick-off is 5.30pm.

Please leave longer for your journey, and travel by public transport if possible to avoid getting stuck in jams 🚗🚗🚗

• Check for CT4N service updates via their Twitter and website - Medilink is now operating as two services to ensure smooth service during the roadworks at QMC roundabout
• Bays One and Two will be closed for the next few weeks for safety reasons and pending repairs at Victoria Bus Station following a minor collision. Services have been moved to other stands at the site so please check with your operator for individual bus routes 
• Trentbarton is making changes to its Mainline, The Cotgrave, and Rushcliffe Villager services from Sunday 3 November. More details here...

• Monday 9 December - Friday 13 December: engineering works affecting Northern Railways services between Leeds/Sheffield and Nottingham. The 5.15am train from Sheffield will terminate at Chesterfield, with a replacement bus on to Nottingham. The 6.16am service from Nottingham to Leeds will start at Alfreton, with a bus running between Nottingham and Alfreton.
