The new gym at Victoria Leisure Centre has reopened following a period of refurbishment. The renovations included a full makeover of the gyms, including all-new fitness equipment, flooring, and facility refresh featuring:
- Premium fitness equipment from Life Fitness, Hammer Strength and ICG® - suitable for all training interests and fitness levels, so you can get the most out of every workout
- An immersive digital experience with new cardio equipment consoles - offering the latest entertainment options and interactive workouts to keep you motivated
- Environmentally friendly Green Zone with self-powered equipment – so together we can do more to help the environment
- Health Zone featuring body composition scanner from Boditrax
- Functional Zone with training rig and accessories – a great space for individual workouts or training with friends
The Functional Zone at Victoria Leisure Centre will also feature 'Ladies Only Functional' and 'Calm Functional Gym' sessions (look out for those time slots on the website or Active Nottingham app). click here to find out more about these activities.

 Working in partnership with Her Spirit, this Strength Programme is designed to help every woman get stronger. Suitable for women of all abilities from those just starting to those who are already doing some strength activity.
This class uses body weight and small weights and is great for those of you who are new to strength or looking to increase your strength with hand weights.

Available until Sunday 31 December National Ice Centre
There's lots of fun to be had at the National Ice Centre this Christmas!
Skate with festive characters on Saturday 2 December, where children under 5 can skate for free.
There's also the opportunity to meet the big man himself from Saturday 9 December - tickets include a meet and greet with Santa in his grotto, a Christmas gift, hot chocolate, ice skating and festive colouring activities.
