Welcome to our latest edition of our NAAC e-alert.
NAAC Music & Dance Academy
Register at the NAAC Music & Dance Academy classes to learn something new - dhol, tabla, sitar, singing, etc; have fun learning to dance with our Bollywood dance class...and don't forget to let your friends and family know so that they can join in on the fun too! Classes will resume on Wednesday 2 November after the half term.
The Celebrating Adivasi and Dalit Arts and Literature Festival is dedicated to the writing and performance arts by writers whose work creatively resists caste discrimination and social exclusion in India. This will be a unique opportunity to experience performance, poetry and panel discussions featuring creatives whose vision of social justice, democracy and equality is inspiring and powerful.
The One-Woman play, Santimmi Ramayna: Friday 14 October 7-8.30pm
Dalit and Adivasi Writers: Reading and Dialogue: Saturday 15 October 1-3.30pm
Changing the World through Literature and Activism: Saturday 15 October 4.30-6pm
This year's Formations programme has been launched: Formations 2022-23 Programme - Bonington Gallery and registration for the first the online event in collaboration with the CADALFEST series is now open. The Bonington Gallery will live stream the conversation between the artists Subash Thebe Limbu and Osheen Siva on Adivasi and Dalit Futurism on 20 October. The conversation is moderated by KA Geetha and Priteegandha Naik.
Please note that a pure vegetation menu will be prepared in a separate kitchen with table service arranged. We have secured some fantastic raffle prizes and will be joined by the Police Commissioner and her team as our special guests on the night. Friends and family, all welcome.
