Cult folk hero and festival veteran 'Beans on Toast' curates a day of life-affirming folk music in Nottingham city centre's beautiful Arboretum park. Music, trees and revelry are promised, with some of the UK's most exciting acts playing stripped back sets from the Arboretum's bandstand.

It'll be a family-friendly event filled with brilliant music, good company, tasty food, cold drinks and warm sunshine in a truly beautiful setting.

The Ensemble comprises the principal players of the Chineke! Orchestra – Europe's first majority Black and ethnically diverse orchestra – and has performed extensively across the UK.

Rosen has published in the region of 200 books for children and adults, including collaborations with Quentin Blake; “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” with Helen Oxenbury, and “A Great Big Cuddle” with Chris Riddell.  His poetry for adults includes “Don’t Mention the Children”.  Michael will also be available for book signing before and after the show.
