An epic lineup of music legends has been added to the special 10th birthday bash, with The Charlatans joining headliner Paloma Faith on the Main Stage and The Stranglers headlining the Confetti Stage.

British Open Wheelchair Championships 🎾

until 22 July – Nottingham Tennis Centre

Don't miss the chance to see some of the greatest international wheelchair stars in action. There is a great chance of seeing a British player in a final! You can even have a go yourself.

Tickets for the have-a-go sessions and the tournament are free of charge and available online

Nottingham Beach 🏖️

14 July–2 September – Old Market Square

Entertaining families for over ten years, the Beach is back and better than ever as the Nottingham institution returns to Old Market Square.

With sand, sea and a range of thrilling rides, traditional sideshows and great food and drink options – enjoy a trip to the seaside without leaving the city.

Comprising 300 tonnes of sand, with additional awnings and heaters, this year's beach will be warm and dry enough to convince any visitor they're spending time in a foreign resort. The heater system generates enough power to heat Real Madrid's Bernabéu Stadium, so long summer nights on the Beach are definitely on the cards...

Watch out for the FREE summer nights programme of entertainment, sports and fun activities after work:

• Monday – (from 7pm) – Movie Night: vote for the movie you want to see online
• Tuesday – (5–9pm) – Variety Night: open mic to showcase local talents
• Wednesday – (from 6pm) – Volleyball tournament in association with Hooters and salsa lessons with Todo Latino Dance Company
• Thursday – (from 6pm) – Kids Movie Night: princesses and pirates welcome! Vote for the film you want to see online
• Friday – (from 4pm) – Friday Night Fever: relax into the weekend with a great line up of live acts
• Saturday – (from 4pm) – Saturday Beach Festival: the festival line-up without the festival price tag
• Sunday – (from 4pm) – Sunday Chill Sessions: relax and unwind with acoustic singers

Pride 🏳️‍🌈

28 July – Hockley

The Nottinghamshire Pride parade starts at 11am led by Nottingham City Council in partnership with the NHS.

The parade will commence from the corner of Lister Gate/Castle Gate and will finish at Broad Street where celebrations and events continue until 6pm.

As well as the parade, there'll be live music, inspiring speeches and a range of performances. Come along and celebrate sexuality, gender identity and equality!

Sports summer camps for kids 🏅

30 July–24 August – various locations

This summer, Notts County FC Football in the Community is out and about across the city, keeping kids active and entertained with daytime activity camps. 

It’s the perfect opportunity to make new friends and have fun, supported by talented and trained staff. Choose from a multi-activity Summer Camp, or a dedicated Football Camp.

This year, one of the Football Camps is being held at Meadow Lane on the 3G pitch, and kids who sign up for this location will be given the opportunity to take part in a tour of the ground and meet some of the players!
