Cave City: Underground Festival 11-13 May
In celebration of Nottingham’s 800 caves, #CaveCity invites you to explore this mysterious terrain which has lain beneath the city for hundreds of years. There are tours, talks, activities and experiences throughout the city, including some of the city's lesser known cave locations. Cosmic Ray Cave Cave Cinema - Limited tickets available Sat/Sun
 NEW - Virtual Reality Cave Experience at Cave City 12 - 13 May (10am-5pm) National Videogame Arcade
Visit Nottingham's brilliant National Videogame Arcade to explore Nottingham's caves through virtual reality! Take a VR tour of the famous Mortimer’s Hole and King David’s Dungeon beneath Nottingham Castle.
Tickets - VR Cave Experience is free but normal admission to the NVA applies.
Tickets £9.50 | Concessions £7.50 | Under 5s Free

The Caves VR experience cannot be pre-booked and is not suitable for those under 8 years old.

 Great British Tennis Weekend
12 and 13 May Nottingham Tennis Centre
Summer is on its way and Great British Tennis Weekend is a great chance to enjoy some free tennis at the amazing international standard, tennis centre.
Children aged between 3 - 10 years are invited to Nottingham Tennis Centre for a great FREE event! The LTA Roadshow is visiting twith its inflatables and tennis activities for anybody to come along and have a go.
Think fastest serve, the cage and the co-ordination wall. All equipment is provided along with our great team to help you enjoy the session. There are two sessions each day so book a space now! Melting Pot Food and Culture Festival
12 May New Art Exchange (12-5pm) Free entry
Join New Art Exchange for their annual festival celebrating
the diversity of Hyson Green, featuring an array of locally owned and operated
food vendors, creative activities for families and fee performances in the
CaféBar. Activities include face painting, mehndi and screen-printing workshop.

 Nottingham Croquet Club Open Day
13 May - Highfields Park (2-4pm)
To celebrate National Croquet Day, the club will be holding an Open Day. As well as an opportunity to watch good players in action, there will also be a chance to have a go yourself, for free. All equipment is provided: just bring flat soled footwear and outdoor clothing suitable for the weather that day!
The Open Day will be followed by a Introductory Course on Tuesday evenings starting 22 May.

 Jo Jingles is back at intu Victoria Centre
Sessions between 15 May and 17 July Nottingham Coffee Club
Jo Jingles is coming to town! Bring your
little one along to these vibrant music, singing and movement sessions with the
colourful, friendly character Jo Jingles.
From his initial welcome, to his
infectious waving and enthusiastic cuddles, Jo sings, dances and has a great
imagination! It's not uncommon to find him pretending to be a train driver, a
monkey or even a teapot during the class!
Every
week each child will enjoy some hands-on fun with percussion instruments, such
as tambourines, drums and bells. You are encouraged to actively join in
with your Little One and Little Jo who brings special surprises in his bag each
week and is always ready to move to the music with fun actions.

1,000 songs under his belt, from old favourites to the more unique, you can
