Curious City – Saturday 17 Feb - taking over the city centre! Venues include intu Broadmarsh, Central Library, Broadway, and National Videogame Arcade. There’ll be tonnes of family fun!

Curious Lates – The most curious series of evening shows Nottingham has ever seen! With demonstrations, talks and even sciencey-themed comedy, there’s sure to be a night to grab your interest

Enchanted Water - at
the canal side, includes StarGate installation and the Lantern Company puppets
Nottingham Castle – The Circle Squared (top of the green) - an interactive dome
with projections and soundscape
Sneinton Market - puppet/carnival parade
Dazzling Dodecahedron - Installation on Smithy Row which is a
colourful sensory installation that you can go inside
Dhol players performing on Friar Lane, Smithy Row and outside the Theatre Royal
Outside the
Theatre Royal also, will be an installation where the public's portraits will be
projected onto the wall

Gate, Pelham Street, Old Market Square and outside St Peter’s Church.Â
Its in Nottingham Light Night is organised in partnership with ‘It’s in Nottingham’. The event is being supported by community groups and city venues.

Come fly with us! Take the Starflyer from Old Market Square (until 25 Feb)
Fasten your seat belts and get ready for take off. You are invited to soar above the city as the Nottingham Starflyer takes off daily from Old Market Square (10am -10pm)
The 70-metre high attraction towers over the dome of the Council House at 62m, and is just 2 metres shorter than the city’s tallest building, the Victoria Centre tower which stands at 72m high.
Suitable for 6 years + with a minimum height of 1.2m

 Accenture World Triathlon Mixed Relay - Volunteer!
Be at the heart of the action…
On Thursday 7 June, the world’s finest triathletes will race in heart of Nottingham as they start their Olympic qualification journey. Victoria Embankment will welcome over 15,000 spectators to watch triathletes from 18 different nations battle it out, with a TV audience of millions watching from home.
We need volunteers to help the day go smoothly; looking after the athletes and spectators, helping create an event Nottingham can be proud of.
Volunteers will receive meals throughout the day, and event uniform; plus a chance to be up close and personal with the action.
Help is needed in shifts between 4-7 June
