FREE ParkLives fun | May Half Term

Schools Out

School's Out Holiday Activities | Until 2 June

Nottingham City Council’s fantastic holiday offer: School’s Out, gives young people all-day sessions at some of Nottingham’s Leisure Centres for just £1 per day.

Running at Clifton Leisure Centre, John Carroll Leisure Centre, and Southglade Leisure Centre along with Portland Centre and Minver Crescent Sports HallActivities include football, hockey, tennis, basketball, cricket, rounders, table tennis, dodgeball plus arts and crafts.

Children need to bring comfortable clothing including a jacket and sensible shoes (trainers are preferred), a packed lunch, plenty of refreshments and a water bottle. There is an additional charge of £2.25 for swimming (£2.10 at Portland).

Wheee! Festival | Until 4 June

Don't miss The Buildy Uppy Dance Show - an interactive theatrical adventure; Suites Curieuses a dance-theatre show based on Red Riding Hood with animations, shadows and projections and One Little Word an endearing story of friendship, power and spaceships. 

The festival  features a new Luminarium and a FREE family weekend with outdoor performances and activities. For more information click here

Autokarna | 4 June

Enjoy a FREE family day out at the annual Autokarna and Crowd Pullers Motor Showstaged by the Pre-war Austin Seven Club at Wollaton Park.

See vintage, veteran and classic vehicle displays, including cars, motorbikes, buses and commercial vehicles, an autojumble and the Crowd Pullers Motor Show with displays. There's a funfair, children's entertainment, an afternoon band concert, stalls, a bar and food outlets.

Car parking charge of £6 per car does apply.
