Faith Communities Supporting Dementia Friendly
Faith communities play a valuable role in supporting people living with dementia and their carers. In addition they help to prevent dementia from developing in the first place by promoting social interaction and healthy lifestyles. This report provides a number of examples across a range of faiths.
Nottingham Central Library supporting 'Do One Thing for Dementia'Wednesday 17 May, 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm - Discover the power or dementia research Saturday 20 May between, 10.30 am to 2.00 pm - Information and advice from local groups, 'Where did you last have it?' (a performance work with living sculptures) and a Dementia Friends information session (10.30-11.30).
