Harvey Hadden Sports Village is our newest Iconic facility offering a wide range of facilities we work with a number of National Sporting Governing Bodies as well as local partnerships and the community whilst also hosting a range of Regional and National events. With a 50m pool which can be used as 2 x 25m pools a 10 court sportshall, 2 Studios, Fitness Suite and Health Suite with Spa amongst it's facilities making Harvey Hadden a regional and community sporting hub and a destination sport venue locally, nationally and regional.
 
As a Lifeguard you will have a passion for delivering a first class customer experience whilst also ensuring the safety of visitors. We are looking for an individual that has a passion for delivering a first class service to all visitors with a can do attitude and willing to go the extra mile for all visitors. Someone who can be calm under pressure, has great customer service skills is highly responsible and natural with people from all walks of life.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of visitors to the pool and activites they take part in whilst making sure they have the best possible experience in terms of enjoyment, safety and hygiene. A holder of a current National Pool Lifeguard qualification and a good knowledge of pool safety we will provide ongoing professional training to ensure you keep at the top of your profession. Set up of equipment and cleaning are also key parts of the role.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Hold a current up to date National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (8th Edition)
  • Commitment to providing high standards of customer service
  • Maintain a safe pool environment through excellent Lifeguard practices
  • Carry out regular cleaning and equipment maintenance checks
  • prepare activity areas as required ensuring all equipment set up safely following health and safety guidelines and facility instructions
