There are two vacancies for Personalisation Officers based at Loxley House / Other Joint Service Centres; one position is full time (37 hours / week) and one position is part time (18.5 hours / week). Both positions are permanent.
 
The Personalisation Officer’s responsibilities can be split into two main areas:
• Enabling access to Short Breaks Services for disabled children and young people in line with pathway 1-2 to provision
• Assisting and enabling service users to use their Personal Budget or Personal Health Budget to meet their social care and or health care and needs, by helping them plan and source both paid support, and unpaid informal support from their social networks and communities.
 
The ideal candidate will have high standards of communication with vulnerable adults and children, as well as being able to work in partnership with other professionals and agencies.
 
The Personalisation Officer is expected to work directly with citizens to identify appropriate support and provision, in line with their personal support plan / care plan and direct payment (if relevant).
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge of Personalisation and Person Centred ways of working;
• Ability to work in a person centred way to develop person centred care and support plans, which may include short breaks/respite.
• Experience of managing and prioritising own workload, working independently and recognising when support from your line manager is required;
• Experience maintaining electronic case file and administrative systems.

As an Assistant home manager you will work as part of a team in a children's home supporting the Registered manager. You will play a vital role in assisting young people to achieve their life goals and equip them with the skills to go on and achieve their life goals.
 
Assist the manager to manage the effective delivery of service, through allocation of duties and responsibilities, staff deployment, day to day supervision, monitoring of internal systems and audits. Manage the efficient use of financial resources within prescribed budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and departmental objectives
Develop and sustain arrangements for joint working between staff, colleagues, related agencies and carers to meet the needs of the young people.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Qualified to Diploma/NVQ level 3(child related) DipSW or equivalent
• Previous managerial experience within a professional capacity or supervisory experience,
• Awareness of the principals behind the Children's Act 1989 and 2000, Child care legislation, Government guidance and Children's home regulations 2015 and standards.
• Awareness of safeguarding process and relevant safety concerns.
• Ability to contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation and monitoring of individual care programmes for young people.
• Understanding of social, physical and emotional needs of young people in care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, young people, professionals and families. This will involve face to face, IT systems, writing and by phone.
• Motivation to work with young people in care who may have emotional and behavioural difficulties
• Ability to demonstrate and practice high standard of relationship building skills.
• Identify personal areas of development and those of team members needs and plan accordingly.
• Willingness to work outside of "normal" working hours

Fixed Term
There is one vacancy for a Performance Reporting Officer in the Business Performance Team based at Loxley House. The contract is fixed term for three months initially, but may be extended.
 
The Performance Reporting Officer is responsible for performance data reporting across Adult Social Care as directed by SLT. They will liaise with relevant stakeholders both internal and external to collate and present data pertinent to KPIs. They will also design and implement data collection and data management processes necessary to the function of the department, and in line with Government legislation and Safeguarding procedures. The Performance Reporting Officer will be expected to support with other scheduling and data collection activities including deployment of Peri Care Workers.
 
The ideal candidate should have a high level of competency in planning / scheduling and presentation, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, as well as clear organisational and prioritisation skills.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Demonstrate experience of coordinating a wide range and large number of projects and working to tight deadlines.
• Able to analyse information, be creative and flexible in the formulation of solutions to project risks and issues, and to use analytical skills to present numerical and other data.
• Highly effective communicator providing complex written and verbal reports, listening and public relations skills, with the ability to promote a positive image for the service.
