With annual audiences of over half a million people, Nottingham Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall is the major Arts & Entertainment provider in the East Midlands. We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Officer to join our proactive Sales & Marketing team. 
 
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who will play a vital role in building on the venue's current successes. They will be responsible for working on the venue's day to day marketing activity through managing, developing, implementing and evaluating marketing activity plans to maximise the high levels of income to be generated, developing new audiences and raising the profile of the venue. Working with a wide variety of internal and external contacts the post holders will also need to have an understanding of the benefits of promoting shows through digital and social media and have a sound financial understanding of project lead work. 
 
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge and experience of the marketing mix and be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines whilst multi-tasking and prioritising workload. Experience of using CRM Systems and a knowledge of utilising databases would be an advantage as would an interest in the Arts. Excellent communications skills to a diverse range of contacts and the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team are also key elements for this role.
