The Strategic Assets and Property Directorate are looking to appoint Business Partners to support Service Departments in the development and delivery of their Asset Management Plans. The successful candidates will be the key point of contact for Service Departments within the Strategic Assets and Property Directorate and, as such, will be expected to build positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues. The Business Partners will be expected to ensure and coordinate appropriate support, guidance and advice for Service Departments liaising with property professionals within the Council and across partnerships.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Property related qualification to degree or equivalent level or relevant experience and knowledge
• Knowledge of public sector asset management and property management issues
• Ability to develop asset management plans that reflect departmental needs
• Experience of developing positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
• Possess effective project management and facilitation skills
• Ability to present ideas in a coherent and persuasive manner

A qualified and experienced Head Gardener is required to work in the gardens and park at Newstead Abbey in Nottinghamshire.  The role will involve leading an existing team of staff and volunteers to maintain and improve the grounds and gardens to a high standard as part of the overall visitor offer at this popular heritage site.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in horticulture or environmental conservation
  • Experience of team leading
  • Substantial experience of working in a horticultural or environmental conservation setting
  • Practical horticultural skills and ability to use relevant equipment
