This Vacancy is 35 hours per week – 7am-2pm, Term-Time Only

Role Responsibility We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Cook Supervisor to supervise our dedicated catering team, who produce outstanding food using the finest and freshest ingredients in the highly challenging environment that is educational catering, Also:-

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Supervision and delegation of all work relating to the catering service in the school
• Supervision of hygiene, health and safety in the kitchen and dining room
• To liaise with the head teacher with regards to the service provided and the needs of the school.
• To help organise special functions as required
• To undertake all admin work as required including menu planning, ordering, stock control, daily record sheets and reporting repairs
• To attend meetings as necessary

The Ideal Candidate
• Proven experience in a quality catering environments
• Excellent people skills, able to lead and develop a team
• Passion about food and customer service
• Superb culinary skills
• Strong financial and commercial acumen
• High standards and be quality driven
• Excellent organisational & communication skills
• A 'Can do' attitude
