To provide safe and appropriate personalised care and support to citizens in a way that that maintains their dignity, maximises independence and gives them choice and control over the way their care is provided.  To work in any area of Adult Social Care, whether in the home, the community or within a Council establishment.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to undertake personal care tasks as detailed in the citizens Care Plan

- Ability to support and communicate citizens who have a diverse range of needs

- Ability to work well with others as part of a team and build positive professional relationships and ability to accept constructive feedback, engage positively with decisions made, and adapt to new ways of working

- Ability to follow all instructions, policies, procedures and guidelines

Must have care experience to apply for this post, casual workers should be aware that the Working Time Directive applies to casual posts as well as employed roles. Therefore we ask that candidates are honest about any posts they will be maintaining whilst taking casual shifts.

References prior to accepting the role will be requested so that the earliest start date can be maintained if the candidate is successful.
