You will hold a recognised Social Work Qualification, (MA, BA (hons) or BSc (hons) Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, CSS) with HCPC registration, have completed your ASYE year and will be experienced in working with children and families.  Proven experience of court work, undertaking in-depth assessments, preparation of high quality reports and presenting them in a formal setting is essential, as is your ability to manage child protection cases.  To be considered for a Level 3 post you should in addition, be able to demonstrate your ability to manage complex, multi-faceted child protection cases.  You will also be able to apply your significant knowledge and practice to guiding, supporting and mentoring other workers.

As a Level 2 you will receive a minimum starting salary of £29,854 (inclusive of temporary market supplement), and as a Level 3 you will receive a minimum salary of £34,196 (inclusive of temporary market supplement).  In addition you will have the benefit from supportive and proactive management and a genuine commitment to you and your career development with a clearly defined career path.  Additionally, we have family friendly policies, a final salary pension scheme and an award winning employee benefits scheme.

You will possess a full driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel both inside and outside of the City Council area as required. An enhanced DBS check will also be required.

Nottingham Health and Care Point (NHCP) is Nottingham City’s front door access to Health and Social care services. NHCP is a very busy, fast-paced environment taking referrals from both professionals and citizens. The service functions as part of Adult Social Care’s Access and Crisis Team (Rapid Response) and deals with a high level of Safeguarding and emergency referrals. The team sit with colleagues from Nottingham City Care and are an integral part of the integration of Health and Social Care. We are looking for a dynamic Performance Lead to support our expanding service as we deal with ever more complex referrals, to ensure that systems and processes continuously improve and achieve the highest of standards. The Performance Lead will be responsible for managing Health and Social Care Officers, who are the first point of contact for callers, and supporting in the management of case-holding Community Care Officers.

The successful candidate will be either a qualified Social Worker/Nurse/OT with current HCPC registration, or a highly experienced Senior Community Care Officer. They will be able to work in a busy ever-changing environment with multiple priorities where they will support colleagues to maintain high risk-management standards and excellent customer focus.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

In your personal statement you should ensure that you outline how you meet all points in the person specification, but are advised to pay particular attention to the following:

1. Able to identify potential risks at an early stage and work with others to resolve problems and implement sustainable solutions

2. Experience of leading, developing and motivating a team in Adult Social Care, to achieve targets and the highest standards of performance (including the effective use of IT systems and data)

3. Experience of effectively managing the performance, conduct and attendance of colleagues, including dealing effectively with issues of concern or under performance

4. Ability to recognise and take action regarding safeguarding issues.

We are looking for a dynamic, team player with a commercial marketing background to join our Business Development and Commercial Innovation Team. As part of this team you will be strategic lead for marketing and oversee a diverse range of services with a collective turnover of £200m per annum, consisting of around 3500 staff.

You will be responsible for the development of the commercial marketing strategy across Commercial and Operations to include market analysis, pricing, branding, customer marketing (including digital), PR, internal communications, insight and evaluation.

Experience in commercial environments would be advantageous to be able to provide strategic marketing direction that will directly impact the commercial growth of Nottingham City Council.

We are looking for an experienced accountant to assist with accounting and monitoring of the capital programme and the financing and associated costs of the programme.
