To lead a team of front line colleagues responsible for service delivery in a commercial environment dealing with the billing & recovery of Council Tax. Key duties: • To focus all staff on delivery against commercial targets and to meet the customers’ requirements and continually enhance their ability to deliver against it. • To manage a team with a strong and effective performance management culture, with a drive to deliver efficiencies and support the development of commercial opportunities in a transaction/customer service setting • To be responsible for the leadership of all staff in the team, including resourcing planning, workforce planning, performance appraisals, absence management, health and safety ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: • Experience of leading a team in a performance culture, against defined KPIs, and able to demonstrate quantifiable improvements in service delivery. • Experience of handling conflict and effective performance management of individuals • Ability to critically analyse the business and formulate innovative & practical solutions • Experience of supporting and leading staff through change For informal enquiries please contact Bev Osborne on Tel: 0115 8764066 or email: bev.osborne@nottinghamcity.gov.uk This post is a regulated activity requiring a barred list check.
