RSPCA Big Walkies - Sunday 4 September at Colwick Country Park 

Join the RSPCA for a 5km sponsored dog walk to help more local animals get a second chance to find happiness in a new home.   

Not only will you and your dog have the Walkies of your year, but you'll help to raise doggie dosh for four-legged friends living right here in Nottingham who are less fortunate than those walking on the day. Get involved.

It's just not long to go till the Great Food and Drink Festival, at Newstead Abbey on August Bank Holiday weekend.

Top chefs like Simon Rimmer and Michael Caines will be there, as well as Great British Bake Off winner Nancy Birtwhistle. Plus, enjoy 100 food and drink stalls and onsite bars and live music.
