Nottingham City Council’s new Energy Projects team is looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Senior Energy Projects Officer to support the Energy Projects Manager in effectively delivering our ambitious renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. You’ll coordinate and deliver energy projects that will help us to meet our Carbon Management Plan targets to reduce energy use, cost and carbon emissions as well as helping to generate commercial income streams.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Experience of working in an energy management function and engaging with other service areas such as finance, property, maintenance and transport.

2. Self-motivated, conscientious and responsive. An ability to work flexibly to changing demands and tight timescales.

3. Experience of working on projects and advising on issues related to carbon emissions in relation to a wide range of property types and operations.

4. Renewable Energy Project reporting, coordination and management.
