To provide safe and appropriate personalised care and support to citizens in a way that that maintains their dignity, maximises independence and gives them choice and control over the way their care is provided. To work in any area of Adult Social Care, whether in the home, the community or within a Council establishment.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to undertake personal care tasks as detailed in the citizens Care Plan/Implementation of Care Plans and contribution to running records and daily monitoring forms.

2. Willingness to undertake training and development, as necessary, to enhance the service (e.g. QCF2 Health & Social Care)

3. Knowledge and understanding of the rights, needs and feelings of vulnerable adults from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.

4. Understand the need for confidentiality and an ability to maintain it.

Hours will be worked variously between 7:00am and 10:00pm. Weekend work will be required as part of a planned rota.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check for a regulated activity.
