To provide an effective and efficient 'scheduling' and 'routing' service of all confirmed care bookings, referrals and requests received from (Care Bureau Advisors, members of the public, commissioners, health/assessment colleagues, citizens and Adult Social Care Provision employees)

Ensuring that prescribed procedures are followed to ensure optimum use of 'in house' and 'volunteer' resources and value for money demonstrated in relation to all care services provided by Nottingham City Council and a selection of care provider/s.

Allocate (Dispatch) work to in house providers, volunteers and approved suppliers ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of data/information is maintained at all times; and verify that all care has been delivered prior to processing invoices through for payment.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to search, process and maintain manual and computerised records, including numerical calculations.

2. A good knowledge and understanding of Adult Social care services and partnership working with other key agencies (e.g. health, housing, voluntary sector).

3. Ability to plan and prioritise own and others workload to meet deadlines, in a fast moving environment without direct supervision.

4. Good IT competence for a variety of software packages, including accounts, E-mail, Word Processing & Spreadsheet skills

The Stage Door Keepers act as the first point of contact for all visitors to the backstage of the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall, they handle queries by phone email and in person and need to be able to confidently assist the public, contractors, technical staff and artists.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• To provide Stage Door/Fire Security cover

• To operate the switchboard, fire control panel and provide receptionist services

• To manage and control truck and car parking for the centre

• To deal with general enquiries providing information about the Company’s activities.

The job has a variable work pattern Mon to Sun, normal hours are 08:00 - 16:00 and 15:00 to the end of shift (normally between 23:00 and 01:00).

Nottingham City Council has a vacancy for a Chef to be based at Loxley House. We are looking for someone with ambition and drive, someone to take ownership on weekly menus and day to day running of the kitchen.

Working essentially as a Head Chef you will report directly to the Senior Head Chef. You will create weekly menus, serving both breakfast and lunch. The existing team consists of One Sous Chef, 7 Apprentices (working across different levels) and 9 other trained members of catering staff.   Working hours are generally 07:00 – 15:00, contacted to 37 hours per week, however flexibility is required to meet the service needs and to work on events as and when required.

Split Shift, Term Time only

Passenger Transport Service is a fast expanding service providing quality transport to the most vulnerable citizens of Nottingham.

Having doubled in size in the last 2 years, more opportunities have become available immediately for both drivers and escorts starting at the end of August. 

We care looking for people with experience in the caring sector to join us. Rates of pay are the highest in the sector (£9 per hour driver and £8 for escorts, approx) and training is provided. The service works on split shifts transporting children to and from school, from home in the morning and then returning in the afternoon to take them home. Drivers need the D1/D qualification to enable them to drive large 16 seater wheelchair accessible vehicle. An enhanced DBS is required. Hours range from 22 per week for Drivers and 20 per week for Escorts both term time only contracts. (Salaried for 43 weeks per year due to no holidays permitted in term time)
