The role will entail: The generation of rich business intelligence to support service design, planning and commissioning within the Public Health Team and the wider organisation on a wide variety of topics (E.g. health, illness, mortality, wider determinants and lifestyle indicators).  The analysis  production and interpretation of data. The role includes the maintenance, development, and application of various information resources and contributes to the development of public health capacity across the organisation.  The use of innovative approaches (statistical/graphical/technical) to analyse and present information.  Provide accurate and timely information using a variety of sources and formats, performing queries and statistical analysis in response to routine and ad-hoc information requests. 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

-  Proven experience and knowledge of business intelligence tools e.g. advanced MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, Survey Design Software, Photoshop, GIS or equivalent

- Analyse complex datasets using a range of different appropriate methodologies and software. Ability to construct rich and clearly articulated business intelligence

-  Practical and innovative approaches to the use of data to drive development and commissioning of services

-  High level communication skills that employ different modes of delivery as appropriate to the audience and develop understanding

Nottingham City Council Commercial and Neighbourhood Operations department is seeking to recruit Operatives to work as part of the commercial waste collection service for businesses across the City and County of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

The role requires the successful applicant to be physically fit, be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and to understand the customer focused environment they are employed in and have the appropriate customer care skills to respond to customers. We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals, delivering an efficient, friendly and high quality service to commercial and educational premises.

You will be required to work flexible annualised hours equating to a full time working week of 37 hours (working longer or shorter hours throughout different weeks) across numerous working patterns.
Successful applicants must be able to work from Eastcroft Depot, London Road, Nottingham NG2 3AH.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Hold a current and appropriate licence (Class 2) HGV Licence
- Awareness of the importance of good customer care
- Awareness of Health and Safety
- A flexible attitude to work duties and location
