To lead on effectively organising, managing and delivering the required legislative changes in response to the implications of The Care Act 2014.

To drive forward the work of the Safeguarding Adult Board, which is a strategic multiagency partnership comprised of senior managers from agencies in Nottingham City, to ensure that the work of the Board is successfully delivered and maintained by working in partnership with key stakeholders and officers across Nottingham City Council and other agencies.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• To lead the work of the Safeguarding Adult Board (NCSAB) in response to The Care Act; developing, establishing and managing the required implications to ensure that policy and procedural changes are fully integrated within the City Council and across the partnership.

• To develop and implement a management systems that ensure that NCSAB resources, governance arrangements, plans, policy, procedure and process, engagement and learning are fit for purpose and subject to an ongoing cycle of learning and review.

• To develop and review a range of appropriate, multi-agency safeguarding policies, procedures and practice guidance in line with the NCASPB Business Plans and in consultation with partner agencies.

• To embed risk management and impact frameworks across the partnership.

We are currently recruiting for Home Care workers, who will work in the community providing care for citizens in their own homes.

Opportunities available for both day time and evening work with various contracted hours ranging from 17.5hrs a week to 22.75 hours per week. (no zero hour contracts)

1. Ability to undertake personal care tasks as detailed in the citizens Care Plan / Implementation of Care Plans and contribution to running records and daily monitoring forms.

2. Willingness to undertake training and development, as necessary, to enhance the service (eg QCF2 Health & Social Care)

3. Knowledge and understanding of the rights, needs and feelings of vulnerable adults from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.

4. Understand the need for confidentiality and an ability to maintain it.

This post will be worked for five hours each day (Monday to Friday) with some flexibility required.
