In your role as Community Arts and Health Apprentice you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of community learning and our arts and health programme.
Main duties include-
To support our creative community learning programme by providing learning support to our learners with additional learning support needs
To support, then after training lead creative arts and health workshops in residential and care settings.
To assist in the maintenance, development, production and procurement of appropriate resources and materials to support our creative programmes.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic candidate that is willing to learn. You will be required to assist in the office covering a combination of duties which include general office administration, parts advising, processing orders, taking orders, answering the telephone, dealing with company returns, working alongside another employee, Ordering special order items for parts we do not stock
Due to expansion a vacancy has arisen for a receptionist to welcome clients to the office, answer the telephone and transfer calls received via switchboard. Post duties will include opening incoming mail, scanning documents and allocating appropriately as well as the preparation of outgoing post. General administrative duties will include the updating of databases.
Read and interpret technical drawings to understand work orders
Plan machining activities keeping in mind the work orders and engineering drawings
Programming of CNC milling and turning machines using Siemens and FANUC controls
Use CAD CAM to create some programs
