Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June

 

Enjoy a fun celebration of our armed forces past and present, this weekend at Wollaton Park. 

  • Re-enactment camp
  • Discover the refurbished 508 Parachute Infantry Regiment exhibit in the courtyard
  • Funfair, stalls and a flyover 

Driving? Please use the entrance on Lime Tree Avenue. All day car parking is £6 per car.

No plans this weekend? Come along to the first ever East Midlands Flower Show, held in the beautiful grounds and gardens of Newstead Abbey.

10:55am - proclamation on Council House steps by Robin Hood to set off the parade

11am - 11.30am - horse and carriage parade from Old Market Square to Nottingham Castle

11.30am - 5pm - FREE entry and family fun day at Nottingham Castle

See the Turner Prize winners work at Nottingham Contemporary until Sunday 26 June

This week is your last chance to see the largest ever exhibition in the UK of the works of Simon Starling – the Turner Prize winner who studied at Nottingham Trent University. This exhibition includes a new commission, and some of his major projects, most of which have never been shown in Britain before.
