As advertised in our recent Stay Connected emails, the Childcare Demand Survey for parents has been launched.
What is the Childcare Demand Survey?
As part of the Local Authority’s sufficiency duty, this survey is designed to establish the demand for childcare in the city. Coupled with the Provider Supply survey which will be launched later this month, this information will support work to ensure we have sufficient childcare available in the places and at the times that parents need it. The Childcare Demand Survey will run until 30th June.
How can you help?
To give us the most representative sample possible, we need to ensure we get as many responses as we can to this survey so we are calling on your help for it to reach as many parents as possible.
·Distributing the postcard – these can be printed off or we have a supply at Loxley House – just let us know how many you require and whether you will be collecting or require delivery.
·Distributing the survey as a hard copy questionnaire - the preferred method is for parents to complete online but if preferred, the survey can be printed off or again we have a supply at Loxley House – just let us know how many you require and whether you will be collecting or require delivery (please note that with hard copy questionnaires we will need all responses back at Loxley House the week commencing 20th June to enable responses to be inputted so if you’re distributing hard copies please arrange for them to be returned to yourselves and contact us about returning them to Loxley House)
Please note that the ISG
