Follow The Suitcase - win £750

Did you know you can save £750 a year by switching to an electric car? You could win that amount in cash - follow Go Ultra Low’s journey as they travel around Nottingham in an electric car on 21st July with a suitcase full of money. 

They’ll release clues about their location as they go, through Twitter and their website. Guess their top secret final destination and meet them there to be in with the chance of winning the cash! Western Cycle Corridor

Works continue on Castle Boulevard at the city end and on Abbey Street. We are also starting works to apply the new green surfacing at side road and accesses that cross the cycle superhighway. We are aiming to have the construction works completed by the Summer and the corridor open soon after.

Big Bike Revival

The Big Bike Revival is back and Nottingham Bikeworks has some great events for you to get involved in:

  • Free Open Workshop at Nottingham Bikeworks- 16th July
  • Dr Bike at Bridgford Park, near the Alfresco Cafe - 23rd July
  • Dr Bike at Forest Recreation Ground - 24th July

Robin Hood Card

Getting around Nottingham by bus, tram and train is really simple, hassle free and good value thanks to the Robin Hood Network, the home of integrated transport for Nottingham.

On April 25 the Kangaroo Season pass was given a new look coming underneath the Robin Hood Card brand. Since the re-brand the dedicated website has been updated providing you with all the information you might need when purchasing a Robin Hood Card.

Southern Cycle Corridor

Southern Cycle Corridor works are currently suspended to concentrate on the northern and eastern route works.  We will provide a further update with plenty of notice when works are set to resume in Clifton.

Eco Expressway consultation ends

Consultation on the proposed Eco Expressway (featuring the Eastern Cycle Corridor) concluded on the 24th June with over 50 comments made on the online interactive consultation map.

Comments are now being looked at by our Project Managers and will be responded to soon.

Women of Nottingham - get on your bike this summer!

Want to build your confidence in cycling? why not try out the Women's Road Cycling Development Session at the Closed Road Circuit at Harvey Hadden during July/September from women aged 14 and over.

These sessions will give you the confidence and ability to maximise your road cycling skills, experience and safety.
