The Fostering and Adoption Service 

Experienced “Form F” Assessors for Fostering Assessments 

The City Council is seeking to recruit experienced “Form F” Assessors to undertake Fostering Assessments. 

We will pay £1,800 to £2,000 per completed assessment. 

The successful candidates will need to be experienced Social Workers, registered with the HCPC and registered as self-employed and responsible for their own taxation and national insurance. 

You will need to be experienced in undertaking Fostering Assessments and have experience of delivering a quality fostering service. 

You will have experience of producing BAAF Form F reports to National minimum standards and have direct experience of creating assessment reports along with the ability to provide training and support to foster carers, together with a knowledge of TSD standards.

Our Supervisors are key to the successful running of the facility. They oversee and ensure the smooth operating and safety of the facility, Team and Customers. You will ensure that the team and yourself will offer the best possible customer service experience on a daily basis. Ensuring that the facility meets performance targets through providing inspirational leadership and development of the team. A successful Supervisor will be professional at all times leading by example. Great communication and presentation skills are essential as is the ability to motivate a diverse team on a daily basis. Good IT skills are also an essential part of the role.

The successful candidate will work a 3 week rota with Early Mornings, Evenings and Weekends as an essential part of the role 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to work effectively as a team member and to supervise a team.

- Ability to motivate team members from different technical backgrounds using a variety of management styles.

- Maintain and hold a current National Pool lifeguard qualification.

- Evidence of supervising and directing staff to achieve performance targets / deadlines and ability to change / adapt resources to meet the needs of the customer or service.

37 hours are flexi time between 7.30 - 6.30 - office rota covers 8.30 - 16.50

To be responsible for dealing with paying for Residential Care administration and recovery of Residential Care accommodation charges. To deal directly with customers of the service and outside agencies over the telephone, in writing and face to face to accurately administer paying for Residential Care and the Recovery of accommodation charges and maximise collection through a variety of debt collection methods.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. A basic knowledge of the legislation in relation to Charging for Residential Care administration and recovery.

2. Experience in Microsoft packages to produce correspondence and spreadsheets.

3. Ability to recognise the different needs of customers and colleagues and adjust individual approach accordingly.

4. Ability to manage own reactions when provoked and be able to demonstrate calmness in dealing directly with citizens and outside agencies.

To act as first point of contact within the Energy Supply Company for Small to Medium Enterprises and Micro businesses. Providing detailed quotations and customer service via the telephone and face to face as well as through other channels appropriate to the customer demand.

To provide support where necessary to ensure continual successful delivery of company objectives and processes; providing excellent customer care by identifying the needs of customers at first contact and then addressing them effectively and efficiently; providing advice and support by referring the customer to the appropriate department, partner or external organisation. To undertake a range of administrative duties to support the delivery of excellent customer care including credit control, managing industry flows and debt recovery.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. To develop and extend the commercial services offered by Robin Hood Energy to supply energy to business premises

2. Manage all relevant data flows to register I&C, SME and Micro businesses for commercial energy supply.

3. Negotiate and agree ad-hoc rates and contracts with small, medium, micro businesses both local and national.

4. Engage with customers to facilitate the regulation to upgrade metering from none half hourly to Half Hourly Settlements.
