Men's Draw
Great news! Denis Istomin will return to Nottingham to defend his Aegon Open (ATP) title in June
He will join a field that also includes last year’s semi-finalist Alexandr Dolgopolov
World No. 19 Kevin Anderson also play. He was runner up to Andy Murray in the final of last year’s Aegon Championships at The Queen’s Club.
He will be joined at Nottingham Tennis Centre by Jiří Veselý — the only player to beat World No.1 Novak Djokovic so far in 2016.
Some other great players coming to the city include:
Uruguay’s world No. 25 Pablo Cuevas - one of five players to win two ATP World Tour titles this year
Aegon Nottingham Challenge champions Steve Johnson and Dudi Sela as well as Aegon Trophy winners Gilles Müller and Benjamin Becker will also play.
Fan’s favourite and 2015 Aegon Open semi-finalist Marcos Baghdatis is coming back to Nottingham for the pre-Wimbledon grass court tennis tournament in June.
He will be joined in the main draw by hard-hitting Spaniard and former World No. 7 Fernando Verdasco, and last year’s finalist Sam Querrey.

The city looks forward to welcoming British Number 1 - Johanna Konta and defending champion Ana Konjuh
This week, it was announced that Laura Robson will be playing on a wild-card along with the other British stars - Heather Watson and Natalie Broady.

as we build up to the two international tournaments being held at
Nottingham Tennis Centre.
Join the LTA and Nottingham Building
Society and come and take part in all kinds of tennis for free. Equipment
is provided and all abilities are invited to come and get involved.
There will be mini courts, inflatables, as well as chances to measure your serve and your accuracy...
There will also be chances to find out about local tennis clubs and playing opportunities nearby - come along and visit! There are three chances to enjoy the fun.
