2 posts available - 1 Full time 37 hours 1 Part time 18.5 hours To provide advice, triage and co-ordinate information to enable decision making and risk management on behalf of citizens requesting / requiring access to social care and health services, and to navigate citizens through to the right services based on an assessment of their needs. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Knowledge of, or ability to learn about, all core and specialist services and their criteria in order to triage and signpost all calls appropriately in a timely and efficient manner. HSC Officers are responsible for assessing and providing advice to citizens at the point of contact and liaising with other teams and professionals in order to navigate citizens through to the correct service. This is a good opportunity to gain experience in the Social Care sector, and would be ideal for someone who would be keen to get into further Social Work roles as there is a lot of telephone contact with citizens and citizen groups. HSC Officers will complete telephone assessments and will need to analyse information in order to prioritise cases and determine which team or service would be appropriate. Fleet Services are looking for a Mot tester to join our team 1. To carry out all classes of Mot tests which Nottingham City Council are approved to do, taxi and private hire tests to a high standard. 2. Maintain the highest quality of customer service. 3. To maintain, inspect, repair and test the City Councils and external customers’ vehicles and/or plant and equipment to prescribed standards in accordance with the Drivers, Vehicle and Standards Agency (DVSA), manufacturers and Council procedures. 4. To complete Taxi testing – under the Council’s approve supplementary Manual – enforcing safety and operating standards, then issuing a “Certificate of Compliance” equal to in-terms of legality of a MOT, under the City of Nottingham Licencing conditions. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: • Experienced MOT tester • Effectively manage time and meet deadlines. Qualifications required: • City & Guilds level 3, NVQ or equivalent. • Qualified to DVSA standards for MOT class 4 & 7 inspections. • Full driving Licence with category B entitlement. • D/C/E licence – Desirable Possible work at our Woolsthorpe Depot.
