An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, confident individual to join a small and friendly Trading Standards team, which is recognised for its excellent working partnerships, being in a unique position based in a City Centre police station.  We are committed to improving the quality of life for citizens, businesses and visitors to Nottingham with a focus on safety in all its various aspects. A core city of England, our team has a strong local and regional profile, achieving high impact results with limited resources.

We are looking for an Accredited Financial Investigator to work primarily within the Trading Standards Service to conduct investigations into identified individuals and organised crime groups, with a view to the prosecution of fraud and money laundering offences under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. You will have had recent experience in the restraint and confiscation of assets, including cash, under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, as well as having proven investigation skills, interviewing of suspects and Court experience.  You must be able to demonstrate continuing accreditation under the Act.

For this position you will need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a genuine commitment to achieve. This is a part time position of 22.5 hours per week, and is subject to full Police vetting. This is an opportunity for a self-motivated individual: you will have the ability to work with the minimum supervision, as well as in a team environment.  You must be able to communicate at all levels, and be able to maintain accurate records of all financial investigations conducted.

Nottingham City Council are looking to recruit a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Hospitality Supervisor to supervise our dedicated hospitality team, who produce outstanding food using the finest and freshest ingredients in the highly demanding environment that is commercial catering,

Role requirements will include:

• Supervision and delegation of all work relating to the catering service within the establishment.

• Excellent levels of literacy and numeracy in order to carry out bookwork, cash handling and stock control.

• To carry out menu planning and service delivery to an excellent standard

• To be responsible for the effective running of events to include, catering, hosting and late night opening, working with the Operations team and Café and Events Manager.

• Assisting the Catering Manager with effective promotion and advertising of the service, activities and products.

• To assist the Catering Manager in achieving the daily sales targets.

Starting salary: Level 1 £23,698  Level 2 £27,123  Level 3 £30,978

Social Workers at Level 1 are required to undertake a full induction and complete a successful probationary period.  Level 1 Social Workers would also be required to complete the ASYE within an agreed period.

Social Workers at Level 2 are expected to carry a full caseload and to work with minimal supervision. Social Workers at Level 2 are also required to deal with safeguarding.  Completion of ASYE (previously PQ consolidation award or Stage 1 Higher Specialist Award (Mental Health)) is required to practice at Level 2.

Social Workers at Level 3 may hold a full PQ Specialist Award but will have Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards accreditation or the PQ Legislation and Accredited Safeguarding module.  Holders of the AMHP qualification, who are undertaking the duties of an AMHP, will also be Level 3. Social Workers at Level 3 will carry a full and complex caseload, work with minimal supervision and provide case management mentoring and coaching to less senior colleagues.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

 -  CQSW/CSS/ Dip SW, Degree Qualification and HCPC Registration

 -  Knowledge and experience of relevant social care legislation and Government Guidance

 -  Commitment to Person Centred practice, as well as knowledge of and commitment to self-directed support

 -  Experience of carrying a full caseload and undertaking assessments of need, with minimal supervision

Nottingham City Council has a number of vacancies for Social Workers across Adult Social Care. There are permanent and fixed term contracts available, and full time or part time hours. The roles are based within various teams across the service citywide. We are particularly keen to find Social Workers who have qualified as an AMHP, or have experience within Mental Health and Duty teams.
