    European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF)

    A call is now open for European Social Fund (ESF)projects to deliver the 'INSPIRE Local' programme.

    People facing significant barriers to finding employment will receive tailored support to develop their work skills from a £4.5million programme.

    The ‘INSPIRE Local’ programme will aim to help those having trouble finding work due to disabilities or health conditions, having little or no work experience (young and older), living in isolated or rural areas, or living in areas with high levels of social exclusion.     Applications can be made by those looking to deliver the  programme within D2N2’s area of Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Deadline for applications is 14 June 2016. Further information is available on the Gov.uk website.

     

    ERDF

    Calls are also still open for the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) until 27 May 2016:

    ERDF Priority Axis 5: Promoting climate change adaptation, risk prevention and management (Please note that the main priority for this is the Lower Derwent valley area in Derbyshire).

    Erasmus+ programme - youth

    Erasmus

    Erasmus+ is the EU Programme for lifelong learning. It supports activities in education, training, youth and sport across all sectors including Higher Education, Further Education, adult education, schools and youth activities. The aim is to boost skills and employability as well as to modernise education, training and youth work across Europe.

    Various calls are open from now until October:

    • Policy Reform - Social inclusion through education, training and youth: deadline 30 May 2016
    • Capacity Building: 1 July 2016;
    • Mobility of Individuals: 4 October 2016; 
    • Strategic Partnerships: 4 October 2016;
    • Meeting Between Young People and Decision-Makers: 4 October 2016

    Creative Europe - cooperation projects

    Creative Europe

    Creative Europe is the European Union's programme to support the cultural, creative and audiovisual sectors. From 2014-2020, €1.46 billion is available to support European projects with the potential to travel, reach new audiences and encourage skill sharing and development. The Culture sub-programme promotes the creative and cultural sectors

    The next deadline for cultural cooperation projects is 5 October 2016. Further details can be found on the Creative Europe Desk UK.


    MEDIA programme calls still open

     The MEDIA sub-programme of Creative Europe supports the EU film and audiovisual industries financially in the development, distribution and promotion of their work. Current open calls (with deadlines) for: 

     

    • Support for the transnational distribution of European Films: 14 June 2016;
    • TV Programming: 26 May 2016;
