To work in any area of Adult Social Care, whether in the home, the community or within a Council establishment. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Ability to undertake personal care tasks as detailed in the citizens Care Plan / Implementation of Care Plans and contribution to running records and daily monitoring forms. 2. Willingness to undertake training and development, as necessary, to enhance the service (e.g. QCF2 Health & Social Care) 3. Knowledge and understanding of the rights, needs and feelings of vulnerable adults from diverse social and cultural backgrounds. 4. Understand the need for confidentiality and an ability to maintain it. There are opportunities available for both day time and evening work with various hours. Men are particularly welcome to apply. Car / Motorbike / Moped drivers are preferable. To support the successful delivery of Adult Social Care (ASC) through the provision of excellent customer service to all customers (including members of the public, commissioners, health colleagues, citizens and ASC employees) by acting as point of contact for all telephone, e-mail, website and written enquiries directed to the service area. To identify the needs of any customer at point of contact, capture and input data, and address any need they have effectively and efficiently. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a busy customer contact centre. 2. Ability to assist in resolving and monitoring non-complex customer queries or complaints. 3. Ability to respect, and maintain confidentiality. 4. Knowledge and understanding of Adult Social care services.
