We are seeking to recruit a range of LGV Drivers to our Public Realm Operatives post to work collectively across different services in numerous LGV vehicles. The role requires the successful applicants to hold a Class 2 LGV Driving License, and you will be required to drive a wide range of operational vehicles including waste collection vehicles, gritters and mainline sweepers. You could be required to work flexible annualised hours equating to a full time working week of between 37 or up to 45 hours (working longer or shorter hours throughout different weeks) across numerous working patterns. Your annual salary will be paid in arrears in 12 equal monthly instalments. Your annual salary will be within Band D (£17,372 - £19,742 subject to pay award) plus enhancements for any unsociable hours and weekend working. To be responsible for the day-to-day driving and operation of a Class 2 (HIAB) lifting vehicle, used in the removal of vehicles on behalf of Nottingham City Council's Parking Enforcement Service. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1) Must undergo and pass the relevant training in the use of HIAB lifting equipment. 2) Knowledge of the safe operation of lifting vehicle up to and including LGV Class 2 3) Knowledge of Parking Enforcement Legislation and ability to advise the public accordingly. 4) Basic understanding of Health and Safety.
