To support the Coronial Service within the City of Nottingham and County of Notts. To receive death reports and deal with the subsequent administrative procedures. To act as Court Usher providing support to HM Coroner, witnesses and families 1. Confident and Organised All training given on the job, No DBS check required, Not politically motivated The Planning and Transport Directorate seeks to deliver an excellent customer focused service in an efficient, effective and economic manner, whilst adhering to Corporate, Departmental and Government priorities. To be accountable for engineering delivery of high profile capital schemes, in particular Broadmarsh Environs, the Cycle Ambition Programme, Roadspace Transformation Programme and the wider LTP for the city along with the development and delivery of new approaches to the cycling and place marking agendas. To contribute to the development of a commercialised approach to meeting service costs and procuring work from private sector for the service and the wider city council. Essential Requirements 1. To be accountable for Highway Design services within the Service Area. 2. To undertake procurement for engineering projects, ensure the preparation of contract documentation for the purpose of tendering and delivering works to deliver best value. 3. To provide management of engineering staff, lead in the delivery of transportation and highway priorities ensuring projects run efficiently and within agreed deadlines and costs. 4. To set and maintaining performance measures and structures for the purpose of tracking team performance, tackling issues that arise.
