Carriageways Not Gritting 
   

 

Today's Forecast

Cloudy with a few brighter spells through the afternoon. It will be dry for most, but there may be the odd spot of light drizzle over higher routes. Into the evening the cloud will thicken from the west, with a band of persistent rain arriving in western parts by 2100, spreading to all areas by midnight. RSTs will remain above freezing. This rain will clear western parts later on Saturday morning with a few showers possible later. RST's remaining above freezing.

 

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Saturday A band of rain will clear to the northeast through the afternoon, followed by scattered showers. The showers will ease through the evening, becoming dry after midnight. Clear spells through the rest of the night will allow RSTs to drop to just above freezing. It will stay dry with plenty of sunshine through Sunday morning. 

Sunday

Winds will gradually strengthen through Sunday afternoon as cloud builds in from the southwest. This cloud will keep temperatures mild overnight. It will stay dry through Monday morning, while staying breezy. 

Monday

Tuesday

Monday afternoon persistent rain will arrive from the southwest, affecting the entire area by midnight. Winds will ease during the early hours of Tuesday with the rain gradually easing. RSTs will stay above freezing overnight. The rain will continue to ease through Tuesday, becoming dry by the evening. Lingering cloud through the rest of the night will keep RSTs above freezing.
