Today's Forecast |
A largely cloudy day to come with some patchy, mainly light, rain or drizzle at times from thicker cloud. However there may be some brighter spells that develop during the afternoon. A rather cloudy night with some mist patches in places too. A moderate breeze will develop overnight and through the morning, this breeze alongside with the thicker cloud and milder air will ensure RST's remain well above freezing tonight. |
Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday) | |
Friday | A cloudy start to the day with isolated outbreaks of rain or drizzle continuing, along with a strengthening breeze. A band of heavy and blustery rain is then expected to cross the region during the mid afternoon, with some strong gusts and difficult driving conditions for a brief period. This will clear east by the evening, with clearer spells developing. It will also turn colder, so whilst the strong breeze will continue, some RSTs are expected to fall below freezing overnight, bringing a risk of ice where roads remain wet. |
Saturday |
Thickening cloud will spread from the west, with further outbreaks of occasionally heavy rain likely throughout the day, and strong winds. Whilst rain is expected to clear during the evening, further showers and strong winds should ensure RST's remain just above freezing, although this is low confidence. Cloud will also build during the early hours of Sunday as further rain spreads in from the west |
